SES Group designs and markets a complete Electronic Shelf Labelling system intended for the retail sector.

These products are aimed at a clientele of food and non-food retail shops of more than 200 square metres.

The electronic labelling system uses low-frequency radio technology and wireless communication technology and enables shops to display or change the prices on shelves throughout the sales area remotely, without any human intervention on the shelves.

For customers, this system provides a significant improvement in productivity, a reduction in the shops operating costs and the elimination of mark-down by eliminating the margin of error in displaying prices.

The return on investment is on average between 10 and 18 months.

SES markets its products to virtually all the big names in the French food retailing market: Auchan, Casino, Carrefour, E. Leclerc, Intermarché, Monoprix, Système U…

As at 31st December 2009, the Group had fitted out nearly 3 000 stores, including 2 144 in France and the rest internationally where installations are growing fast over more than 35 countries

As at 31st December 2009, the Group had earnings of 56.6 million Euros.

The market, already in deployment phase, represents very strong global growth potential for the Group.
